We're dog lovers, just like you
We believe that dogs should be fed the way nature intended - with a diet based on their ancestral roots. By harnessing the power of natural ingredients and species specific feeding practices, we are committed to providing dogs with the nutrition they need to live long and healthy lives.
We prioritize what matters most
We offer species-specific food that is designed to meet the nutritional requirements for dogs ensuring they receive the right balance of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals they need for optimal health and well-being.
We value the support of local farmers and are committed to sourcing our ingredients from local, sustainable, and responsible producers. This ensures the food is free from harmful chemicals and pesticides that can be found in imported produce.
We do not process our food, which means that all the essential nutrients and enzymes stay preserved, which allows dogs to digest and absorb the food more easily, leading to better health and a stronger immune system.
Our dog food is free from artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives, and contains only high-quality meats, fruits, and vegetables. By avoiding these ingredients, we provide dogs with a pure and wholesome diet that promotes good health and vitality.
It all started with a dog named Ruby...
Hey there, we're Chad and Vera, and we're the proud owners of Raw Dawg! We're both passionate about promoting healthy living and believe that it all starts with good nutrition.

Before starting Raw Dawg, we both worked in the medical industry for over a decade. I was a nurse and Vera was a behavioral therapist. We've seen first-hand how poor nutrition can impact the body, and we wanted to do something to help change that.

Our journey with Raw Dawg started when we got our dog Ruby. We spent hours researching what kind of food to feed her, and after discovering the benefits of a raw diet, we decided to give it a try. We were amazed by how quickly Ruby's health and well-being improved. Her coat became shinier, her teeth were cleaner, and she had more energy than ever before.
After moving to Nicaragua a few years ago and recently having gotten our second dog Odin, we realized that there was no commercial raw food available for them. That's when we decided to start Raw Dawg.
Our mission is simple: to provide dogs with the same high-quality, nutritious food that we would want for ourselves.

We believe that sourcing our ingredients locally is the key to ensuring that our food is fresh and of the highest quality.
By supporting local farmers, we can not only provide our customers with nutritious dog food but also help our community thrive.

We're passionate about what we do, and we're committed to making a positive impact on the lives of dogs and their owners. We're so excited to be able to share our love for good nutrition with you and your furry friends. Thanks for stopping by and checking us out!
